We Seek More Volunteers
Our focus is to help people who are down on their luck. There are many homeless people who want to make an effort to get back on their feet. Many local churches and ministries feed the homeless, and that’s great. However, we prefer to mentor them individually and provide the resources to help them return to normal life again.
Sometimes all that is needed is a good bath, haircut, and nice clothes. A used bicycle can be the transportation needed to find employment. Many homeless people prefer receiving friendships with people who can hear their stories, help with resources, and offer encouragement to move forward.
“Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
Matthew 25:37-40
If you live in Miami, we need your help. We need volunteers.
Please join us. We train. It’s easy and safe because we go as a group.
Unlike city governments, like those in California, we do not support the homeless life, but rather, we prefer to help them “come out of that life” and become contributing members of their communities.
When it comes to helping the poor, we put political and religious beliefs aside and get to work. All we want from volunteers is for them to have compassion toward the less fortunate people in the community and act on that compassion with good deeds.
If doing this type of volunteer work interests you, please contact us.
You can also help us financially with donations. See the bottom of this page to donate.
